About the piece/text :

This piece is a multidisciplinary work that involves piano, voice, movement, fixed media, and the interaction of objects. This work explores the interaction and glorifying of everyday object and creating ritual around them. As the performer, you will be given material that guides you through ways to navigate the space. All of the directions and material are primarily for the purpose of reference and don’t need to be executed exactly in any order, it functions more as a ‘’choose your adventure.’’ You will be given a list of potential objects that should be a part of the ‘’altar’’ and a picture of a potential setup of things. Additionally, the way lights interact in the space is very important and should be in a way that highlights refraction.
